“Rando-Trail & Nature (RTN) is delighted to have the support of MCB for a series of trail-associated activities in 2018. RTN has worked hard to achieve solid partnerships to promote the sport-over the past nine years. At present, it has more than 1,200 members and a full league programme of some 38 trail races in 2018. The elements of the MCB sponsorship include supporting athletes from Rodrigues and Mauritius to travel and participate in trails, on both islands and overseas”, says Jean-Marc Rivet, President of Rando-Trail & Nature.

“Leker dan zefor”

Within the same sponsorship with RTN, MCB has launched another initiative named "Leker dan zefor". This initiative aims at calculating every kilometer completed by the RTN participants on all the races till the end of the season. Once the season ends, MCB will pay Rs 5 by kilometer travelled and transfer it to a fund which will be used for a sports and environmental action which will be beneficial to the whole population.
