Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024: MCB scoops three awards

MCB has been awarded the titles of 'Best Bank in Mauritius,' 'Best Digital Bank,' and 'Best Bank for Corporates' from the prestigious publication Euromoney as part of the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024.

 For the Best Bank in Mauritius award, Euromoney highlighted that 2023 was a good year for the bank, with profits before taxes of Rs 15.9 billion, which amounts to an increase of 51% compared to the previous year. The publication also underlined that net interest income increased by 24% and non-interest income by 30%.

Euromoney also highlighted that in 2023, MCB significantly strengthened its digital offerings, with MCB Juice users increasing by 18% and launching an online application for housing loan requests.
