A deep-dive into innovative partnering
The 9th edition of MCB’s Africa Forward Together (AFT) was held from the 19th to the 21st September at Trou-aux-Biches resort in Mauritius.
This year’s conference, which had "Innovative Partnering" as main theme, enabled the participants, C-Suite delegates from mainland African banks and financial institutions, to develop synergies and share their experience, successes and challenges too. During engaging sessions driven by the Leadership Team of MCB Group, they discussed risk, financing, digitalisation, payments, people and consulting, among other themes of mutual importance.
Marc Harel, Head of Institutional Banking, sums up the gist of AFT:
This seminar, which we make a point to host every year, is the perfect opportunity for our African banking counterparts to meet, share, discuss topical subjects. It’s also the opportunity for us to showcase our Bank of Banks offerings and our growing expertise in fields such as payments solutions, consulting, SWIFT services, among others. We are convinced that many African banks can leverage our 180-year old experience and expertise for their own benefit. I avail myself of this opportunity to inform you that AFT 2019 has been scheduled from 2nd to 4th October next year. I hope to see you there!
